NEMA (National Electrical Manufacturers Association) designated laminates are unclad materials comprised of different resin systems, some incorporating woven glass weave, non-woven and some none at all. Each laminate exhibits unique electrical, mechanical and chemical performance characteristics and have specific uses based on these criteria. These laminates can be fabricated into components a variety of uses in the Aerospace, Automotive, Electronic, Industrial and Petroleum Industries.
Typical NEMA Grade Laminate Materials:
X = Paper Phenolic Resin - Mechanical Grade
XP = Paper Phenolic Resin - Mechanical Grade - Hot Punch-able Grade
XPC = Paper Phenolic Resin - Mechanical Grade - Cold Punch-able Grade
XX = Paper Phenolic - General Purpose Grade
XXP = Paper Phenolic Resin - Mechanical Grade - Hot Punch-able
XXX = Paper Phenolic Resin - Electrical Grade
FR-1 = Fire Retardant - Paper Phenolic - Mechanical Grade - Hot Punch-able
FR-2 = Fire Retardant - Paper Phenolic - Electrical Grade - Cold Punch-able
FR-3 = Fire Retardant - Paper Epoxy - Electrical Grade
L = Cotton Phenolic Resin - Machine-able Grade
LE = Cotton Phenolic Resin - Electrical Grade
C = Cotton Phenolic Resin - Mechanical Grade
CE = Canvas Phenolic Resin - General Purpose Grade
FR-4, & FR-5 = Fire Retardant - Glass Epoxy Resin - Mechanical Grade
G-3 = Woven Glass - Phenolic Resin - General Purpose Grade
G-5 & G-9 = Woven Glass Melamine Resin - General Purpose Grade
G-7 = Woven Glass Silicone Resin - General Purpose Grade
G-10 = Woven Glass - Epoxy Resin - Electrical Grade (non-brominated)
G-11 = Woven Glass - Epoxy Resin - Electrical Grade
GPO-1 = Random Weave Glass - Polyester Resin - General Purpose Grade
GPO-2 = Random Weave Glass - Polyester - General Purpose Grade
GPO-3 = Random Weave Glass - Polyester - General Purpose Grade

Means of Transportation:
Sea Freight: Cheap and Slow. Often used for large quantity of orders.
Air Freight: Costly, Fast and Safe. May require custom clearance.
Door-to-Door: Fast, Safe and Convenient. e.g. FedEx, TNT
Road/Rail Freight: May or May not be possible depending on your location.
Phenolics are the result of polymerization between layers of paper, canvas, linen, or glass cloth impregnated with synthetic thermosetting resins. These industrial laminates are a popular alternative to acrylic, because of its high resistance to flexing.
The base material (paper, linen cotton, cotton canvas, or glass cloth) and resin combination used is dependent upon the intended application of the finished product. Physical strength, resiliency, ease and versatility of fabrication, and excellent electrical properties make phenolics useful as support components in a wide range of mechanical and electrical applications.
As a class, phenolic compounds are characterized by low cost, superior heat resistance, high heat deflection temperatures, good electrical properties, flame resistance, excellent moldability and dimensional stability, and good water and chemical resistance. They are of interest to the building and transportation industries due to their fire retardancy, low smoke generation and low smoke toxicity.
(1). Q: Can you give me a discount price?
A: It is depending on the volume.
(2). Q: Why is your price higher than other suppliers?
A: We can offer the products of different quality levels depends on customer's target price and quality requirement.
(3). Q: How can I get a sample?
A: Sample free .
(4). Q: How can you guarantee the quality of mass production is same with the sample sent to me before?
A: Our process will base on the samples which is the same as yours.
